Handover in 3 days!!!

Im starting to feel excited even though we won't be moving in till the 10th of december:(

I had to look through the windows as the house was locked!

this is what i was talking about..that lock should be inside..and we have the key lock inside..wth?

new carpet..forgot what the colour was ..dark brownish..i thought it was meant to be bit lighter than that...looks different to what we chose 10 months ago...

shiny tiles..bad job they've done..you can still see dirt! oh well at least there's no mud all over the place like before.

and I wonder why our benchtop is so thin...the house right across on the other street(another bridgeport) had this huge thick benchtop...i should say 'extra' thick.. i've never seen one like that before.....hmm.

I had a look at the house today...

..and everything is looking complete!!!
carpet? done
left over painting? done
garage door? done
cleaning? done..not properly though...some of the tiles werent shiny like at the start...
and the facade is now complete! looking really nice..im gonna post pictures tomorrow for those who wants to see it.

and some idiot left the flood light on at the back of the house..and another idiot did the lock for the back garage door the other way...so now you can lock/unlock that door from the outside:

Hmmm..Handover next month?

Well it was meant to be in November, wait...., yes PD said 20 weeks and I haven't been counting every week but I do know it is going to take(well it already has) more days to finish everything...as there is carpet to get done and kitchen appliances to be fitted oh the splashback hasn't been done yet!! and the basin for the second bathroom hasnt been installed yet..and therefore the taps haven't been done too! speaking of the taps the laundry taps are also missing(yet to be done)...and bit of painting to do still that inculdes external(alfresco roof and the things at the front , forgot what its called sorry) and inside a big touch-up needs to be done! plus heaps of dents..why cant people do something carefully? im talking about the electricians who were installing the wall plates for the the light switches and few dents on the roof right next to the downlights so it must be them. Finally, a big cleaning job to do on the tiles throughout the house including the wet area....
Cant wait till December 3...yes the keys will be given!!!!

We had to wait like 5 months for the land title..and in june our land was ready to start! but the work at site actually began in July...

In July.. the slab was poured and looking very nice..I wasn't sure why they made that little mess at the front but now I know why.
















Im not sure when but the framework was completed by this time - we had no problem with the frame or anywork before that so... phew. Lets move on.

Well about time I got this.

Haha I hope this is not too late as the house is almost done but Im guessing it will take another 3 months to actually settle in the new house. So till then I'll keep you updated with things.
